Testo dell’audio:
A holiday in Spain
Emma: Hi, Joel! Good to see you again. And you have a nice tan, too. How was your holiday?
Joel: Hi, Emma! It was great. I went to Spain with my family, you know.
E: Where in Spain did you visit?
J: We were in Marbella. Have you ever been there?
E: No, and actually, I haven’t even heard about it. Is it on the seaside?
J: Yes, and that’s why we chose to go there. And also because my cousin had been there and she recommended visiting it. It worked out well because we were lucky to find cheap air tickets to Malaga and Marbella is not far from there, just about 45 minutes.
E: I suppose you spent a lot of time on the beach.
J: Yes, sure. My little daughter loved the water very much.
E: Had she ever been to the sea?
J: No, it was the first time for her. First, she was a little bit afraid, but then she got to like it. We played a lot of ball in the water. My wife and I also went swimming and I even tried surfing.
E: How did it go?
J: Not bad. It was a bit tricky, not very easy at the beginning, of course, but I learnt quickly and soon I found it really enjoyable. I will do it again when I have the chance.
E: Did you take photos?
J: Of course. My wife just loves taking photos of everything. I like this habit because I never have to take any. There were fantastic scenes on the seaside at sunset. So she photographed the sunset every evening. She also took a lot of pictures of the houses, the palm trees and the beautiful flowers in the old town.
E: Were there sights to see in the old town?
J: Yes, we saw an old castle. And the main square with the town hall and some traditional restaurants and shops.
E: Could you show me some of the photos? Now, I would really love to see them!
